How the work is built

Research Methodology

Every page begins with a trust question or engineering decision, then moves through primary evidence, limitations, implementation, validation, and residual risk.

The six-stage method

  1. 01
    Frame the decision

Define the reader, protected outcome, trust boundary, and practical question before collecting claims.

  2. 02
    Locate primary material

Use OWASP, Android, Apple, NIST, MITRE, PCI SSC, official regulations, and originating project documentation.

  3. 03
    Separate fact from analysis

Platform behavior and normative requirements are sourced; design recommendations are stated as analysis with boundaries.

  4. 04
    Write the limitation

Every control page explains bypassability, false positives, client trust, complementary controls, and failure behavior.

  5. 05
    Make it testable

Guidance names the artifact, condition, evidence, backend outcome, negative case, and version context a team should retain.

  6. 06
    Connect the curriculum

Internal links follow real decisions across threat, architecture, platform, control, implementation, testing, operations, and governance.

Review and freshness

Platform and security guidance changes. Pages show a review date, link to the live primary source, and avoid freezing volatile verdict names or policy thresholds into universal advice. Material changes to Apple, Android, OWASP, PCI, or regulations should trigger focused review.
